The Ford cars have the Sync System, an entertainment technology solution that includes Internet connectivity. Not available in Europe yet, but it's coming during this year. In the second generation of the Sync system can convert the car into a wireless router.

It must be said that in U.S. is much cheaper Internet access via mobile phones in these parts. I don't think this is the first manufacturer to offer something similar, but what I think is it will be a trend within a few years. Online Mobility is being imposed on us silently and quickly.
Ford insists the 12 SYNC-equipped Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles now offering it are moving off dealer lots twice as fast as those without it. By the end of this calendar year nearly all vehicles in the Ford family will offer SYNC as standard or a $395 cheap option.
