The Chrysler 300 was originally a prestigious luxury automobile in the 1950's which fell from grace in the 1960's and then disappeared for 30 years. In 2004, it returned as a modernized, sporty, high performance sedan with a distinctive style, an impressive amount of power, and plenty of inside room.
An all American vehicle, the 300 has all the showy trappings that Americans love to love-double lens headlights, protruding fenders, big wheels, and a massive chrome grille. Though the overall look is bit old fashioned, the combination of both sporty and luxury based design evens out the retro feel and if anything only gives it more of a classic taste.
This trendy automobile comes with no less than five available engines, one of them a diesel, and an either 4 or 5 speed automatic transmission.
The basic model comes with a 2.7 liter V6 Chrysler engine and 190 horsepower. This engine has plenty of power to scoot around with and incredible mileage rates of around 21 miles per gallon in the city and up to 28 on the highway. It is said to be able to do zero to 60 miles per hour in just over six seconds.
