Honda from Mexico will recall 9.454 units of the Honda Odyssey minivan 2007 and 2008 models sold in the country.
The automaker said in a press release the movement is part of a global call announced by the parent of the automaker in Japan, including repairs on the model Honda Element, which is not sold in Mexico.
"The review is to
install a deck in the ABS braking system modulator , which prevents the air entering to this one," the company stated in a document issued last Tuesday.
They also warned that the buildup of air, after many months or years of use,
the driver may experience softness in the pedal or loss of height.
Honda de Mexico will soon send a letter directly to owners of affected vehicles, asking them to make an appointment at his Honda dealership in order to fulfill this call to review
